On Friday, October 20th, Christ the King College in Isuaniocha hosted its Investiture event. During this occasion, the school officially welcomed the JSS1 students and provided them with their school uniforms.
The Education Secretary, Reverend Father Maximus C Okonwo, emphasized the significance of taking pride in the school, which translates to being proud of the school uniform. He stressed that the uniform serves as the students' identity and can prevent them from potential embarrassment. He also reminded the students of their primary responsibilities: to be good students by exhibiting obedience and a dedication to their studies.
The ceremony proceeded with the presentation and blessing of the JSS1 students wearing their new school uniforms. Additionally, awards were presented to recognize the best-performing students and teachers from the previous academic session.
Also, some students and teachers were recognized by the school management for their contributions to the school
In his closing remarks, the School Manager, Reverend Father Remigus Obasi , extended congratulations to the award-winning students and teachers. He also encouraged everyone to put in their best efforts to be recognized as some of the finest individuals within the school community.
